Schedule Overview

All trains depart from the Wappocomo Station, 1 1/2 miles north of Romney on WV Route 28, unless indicated otherwise, with an asterisk below. Train trips are 3.5 hours in length unless specified.

All-Day Trains depart from Romney at 9:00 AM and travel south through the Trough to Moorefield & Petersburg. The trains will then return to Romney at approximately 5:00 PM. Photo opportunities are planned along with a mid-day rest stop in Petersburg.

Station/Ticket Office opens one hour prior to train departures. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling or writing the ticket agent at Potomac Eagle.
